I was recently on a 3 hour flight from Texas to California. I was really hungry and prayed the airline I was traveling on would give us a decent meal.
It’s the least you would expect after spending an arm and leg for a flight these days. Travelers are paying extra for just about everything associated with a flight.
Remember those days when your luggage didn’t have to buy a ticket or the movie on the flight was free? Those days are long gone.
But back to my hunger and the decent meal I prayed for. Well, as usual I was disappointed again.
The flight attendants began their rounds on the plane and what they dropped in front of me for a meal was extremely disappointed. At first I couldn’t quite figure it out. After a closer look it turned out to be some type of (turkey wiener) pig in a blanket with a side salad and a Kit Kat. Who eats that?
I decided to pass on my meal and suffer until I got to my destination. My plea to the airlines, if you’re going to charge us for everything at least provide a decent meal on the plane…please!
