THE BIG GAME: I JUST DON’T KNOW THE SCORE!
The Insite was among hundreds of people who showed up for the big homecoming game at McKinley Senior High School in Baton Rouge Friday night. It’s where I attended high school and was the voice for the morning anouncements. The Panthers took on Woodlawn High School for the big event. Despite the incredible show of support I think the other side won. It was hot outside even at night so I didn’t stay for the whole game. But what’s most important is the alumni turning out to support the school and currents students in the community. Hundreds, possibly thousands of pas McKinley graduates were in attendance. Here are some of the pictures the Insite snapped at the game. Shout out to: Juanita and Darlene Ford, Simone Harrell, Monica Vincent and Reginald Williams…Do you know what the final and official score was?
Fox 26 news and The Inside have learned a Houston cop is the target of an internal probed after allegations he allowed a man accused of beating his wife to walk free. Sources tell us that officer was called to the scene of a domestic abuse case last Friday night. The officer who we’re not identifying pretended to arrest the male suspect but later released him. That suspect according to our sources then contacted the female victim again that night and told her he was never actually arrested. Once HPD learned of the incident they actually arrested the suspect on Sunday. A spokesman for the department confirmed the probe but would only say the officer is being investigated for conduct.
