On the morning of January 6, 2012 members of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force executed a search warrant at the home of Kenneth Hutchins located at 5019 Forthbridge Dr. in Houston. Computers were seized as well as a number of external hard drive devices. The suspect, who lived at the residence alone, denied having any participation in the act of downloading or possessing child pornography.

ICAC forensic agents analyzed the evidence and discovered that the suspect had numerous encrypted files both on the computers’ hard drive and the external hard drives.  Forensic agents were able to locate hundreds of videos and “jpeg” images that depicted children under the age of 17 engaging in various sexual acts; some of the youngest victims were only two years of age.

The suspect has been charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography and is currently out on bond.

The Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is an organization made of local law enforcement officers, including HCSO deputies, who are specially trained in the investigation of online child exploitation. The task force is chartered through a Department of Justice grant and is coordinated through the Pasadena Independent School District Police Department.
