HE PLAYS HOCKEY AND SAVES DOGS!

If you don’t know David Backes then you don’t know hockey.  The St. Louis Blues player is also known for his love of animals.  Backes travels around the country rescuing shelter dogs and Houston is no exception. The hockey player and his wife are expected to touchdown in Houston this week in a private plane to collect some dogs who might otherwise be euthanized.  Backes is working with several Missouri based animal shelters like 4C: Corridor Cross Country Canine and Five Acres Animal Shelter. All have a no kill policy when it comes to pets.  The dogs will be taken back to the show me state for the adoption process.  Backes and his crew are expected to arrive in Houston this Friday and the Insite will get you more details!

Corridor Rescue enjoys our relationship with Five Acres Animal Shelter. Two of our rescued dogs already have traveled to Missouri and have been adopted there. We leave no stone unturned to find loving homes for our dogs and cats.
