The Better Business Bureau in Houston has started getting a lot of complaints from people who say their income tax refund check is not as much as they expected.  Monica Russo with the BBB says the problem is people are not reading the fine print.  Those who apply for and use the rapid refund system are getting sticker shock after getting their checks.  Russo says individuals are being charged more by these smaller tax preparers than they expected.  Russo suggests people pay close attention to the fine print to ensure they won’t be hidden with hidden fees!

I too would like to know how to get the money back. I was told by the company that I could not dispute the fees. I was charged a 20.00 check fee.

My tax check was $402 short. I have filed with for the last three years and have never got less than what they told me my refund would be. I don’t owe any money to anyone, no child support, state or federal loans, or anything. I don’t know what to do. I can’t get a real person to talk to me. Everything is automated and I am getting so frustrated.

Our Gov. is retarded. What a waste of taxes they are alone…… I was to receive back $4075. I understood the fine print and agreed with the initial fee’s. The reduced amount was $3032. After Turbotax fee’s I was looking at the amount $2872. Not to shabby right? Fuck no. Wrong. When I got my return this morning the amount deposited in my account (turbotaxcard) was $1750. You tell me that any fine print that I could have missed totaled a dif of over $1120. SO I called the IRS and asked about it. I was hung up on the first 2 times, each call holding over 40 min both. The last time, I talked to a rep she made up this nice broad statement of ” non tax debt”…… Which is odd cause I don’t have debt. Never been sued, don’t have any little assholes running around, well not outside of this house at least. The rep even told me that the, Get this see, THE IRS DOESN’T HAVE THE INFORMATION TO TELL YOU WHAT THIS NONTAX DEBT IS”…….. I should be happy right? With over $1700 and all? NOOOOOOOO I’m even more angry, because if I’m going to be rapped of my money through out the year, then please don’t rape my taxes at the end of the year. I don’t even support where you taking the money you somewhat deserve, WHere’s the rest of my taxes you fuckers

1800 829 1040= Individual assistance for the IRS. Im upset about this enough that you guys let them know what you think about your tax return….. This number is nothing to do with Automated bullshit. After dialing this number cram the 0 button a couple of times. You’ll go straight to a rep. Promise. However there are some hold times. So it’s either hold for 25-40 min or listen to the automated piece of crap that won’t let you access your account. Calls are recorded though of coarse so if you have no filter then probably don’t call them. They are gov you know so fuck with you they will. Good luck black people cause if us whites are getting the strap on you know they’ll throw it to you. Much love guys
