It is stirring a lot of controversy in Sweden and around the world but I want you to be the judge of what some are calling the n-word cake at an event with Swedish officials. Some say it was a gruesome and bizarre scene with racist undertones took place on Saturday when Swedish minister of culture Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth attended a tax funded party for the Stockholm cultural elite. The self-proclaimed “anti-racist” Liljeroth declared the party officially started by slicing a piece of a cake depicting a stereotypical African woman.
BTW, I’m told the cake was actually created by a person of color…does that make a difference to you as well?

This is just plain disgusting. In what kind of society would this be allowed to exist? For supposedly civil human beings to make such an abomination, and enjoy it, points to the worst kind of racism possible – the kind you hide inside yourself, secretly, while outwardly seeming to be free of prejudice. If the cake was shaped like a baby, would you stick an knife into it, and eat it? If you want to make a stereotypical cake, why not a white woman, as all of the crowd in attendance are white?
