A Houston woman is kicking herself after she fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book.  That woman tells the Insite she was notified that she’d won $50,000 from a contest.  There was a Facebook page created to convince her she was the big winner. 

The scam artists also included information from the victim’s family member to make the win look authentic.  The only hold up is the victim would have to send the contest company $4,000 before she could collect the big prize. That woman says she pawned items out of her house to try and raise the money. Then it struck her it was a scam and $3,000 the woman is left kicking herself. Those who are with the scamming company tell the Houston victim she won’t get her prize until she pays the final $1000. You have been warned.
