It was last week when I questioned why the small city of Shenandoah, Tx had a visitor’s center. I couldn’t figure out exactly why. Why I don’t have to scratch my head any longer. Those who are dedicated to the facility left this comment that I thought should be highlighted:
From Visitor’s Center supporter: The Shenandoah Visitors Center serves the entire community, helping people who are here for a swimming or diving event (at the Conroe ISD Natatorium) find restaurants, evening entertainment, etc. and we actually have more Woodlands visitors than Shenandoans. We have brochures and info on most of the cities in TX that have an attractions, helping people gather info for a Texas vacation, etc. Also our center is used by the Daughters of the American Revolution to conduct audio interviews of veterans. Our center has had nothing but positive feedback for the service we provide.
