When I received the call at FOX 26 it felt like I was hearing about something that was happening in high school. The person on the other end said he had been made fun of by his immediate supervisor because he suffered from dyslexia. That employee says he took a test and misspelled two words. So, what did his supervisor do with the misspelled words? That manager took a picture of it and placed it on Instagram. Apparently, that supervisor wanted to make fun of that worker who suffered from a legitimate learning disorder. That worker called the Insite and I told him to think about it long and hard before he goes public because he could lose his job by putting the company and supervisor on blast. But that worker had a better solution. He told his human resources rep that he was talking to Isiah Carey and FOX 26 about the humiliation he suffered at the hands of supervisor on social media. Only hours later that supervisor was fired. This is a strong reminder why adults have to be adults and not allow their obsession with social media to cost them their job!

Some people take social media too far. Especially in this case where the supervisor was the culprit. I mean really. The truth be told the supervisor was a bully. SMH
Melochia i agree with you 100%. Bulling has been around since day one in the work places, schools, churches, and you name it. The reason our society use the social media to express them selves it’s quite, fast, and easy to there hatered not knowing that they can distroy a persons and hurt one’s feeling…
The Human Resources Rep made the correct decision by firing the supervisor. This employee was truly Bless for having an understanding employer. …
Just goes to show that what goes around comes around. I’m going to take a guess that what the supervisor did is probably going to show up on social media. When their next employer does a social media background check, up to 70% do, that supervisor is going to have a hard time explaining the circumstances leading to termination. Moral of the story is that you can never be too careful about what you do these days.
