
The contract between SEIU custodians and private companies in Houston ended last May and it appears their is no easy resolution in sight.

That’s why custodians and members of the union have set up shop in Tranquility park.
There are signs demanding a raise with flyers and information for the for the public.

Workers say Houston is one of the richest cities but custodians still have to work three different jobs to make ends meet.
The SEIU represents 3600 custodians in the Houston area who are planning a major rally this Thursday at 4 pm in Tranquility park.
