Some police officers who were hoping to get promoted are hot at the Houston Police Department.
This comes as officers who took HPD’s sergeant’s exam two weeks ago are told they may have to take a portion of it again.
Sources tell the Insite when the intial promotions test was taken some of the police officers were left without power during the process.
As a result of that I’m told Chief Charles McClelland has asked that a portion of the examination be given again on September 22.
The problem with that?
Some say that creates a delay of 6 weeks for promotions in the department affecting at least 200 officers.
I’m waiting to hear what HPD has to say about this issue.
As soon as I get a response I will post it right here!
