HARRIS COUNTY ENDS DEAD VOTER PURGE – TOO MANY DEAD PEOPLE WERE ACTUALLY ALIVE!

Update to a story we first broke here on the Factor Monday afternoon… Harris County Tax Assessor Don Summers has backed off an idea that was controversial.  Under a state mandate he began a dead voter purge. That’s the process of removing the deceased from the voting rolls.  But he ended the so called death challenge after hundreds of people who were alive received the notice from his office saying they were dead.  Here’s his latest press release on the issue:
