The only phone he doesn’t trick out is the IPhone.
He says Apple lovers usually want to keep their phones in stock condition.
Catalan says Apple has several locks in place on their IPhone to avoid tricking it out.
If you’re interested in getting your phone customized be careful because some independent stores in Houston charge as much as $100.

This man is nothing but a scammer. None of the work he is doing is his own and he should not be receiving free advertising for profiting off the work of others.
Rubbish. This is nothing more than taking other peoples work and charging a fee for an installation process which can be learned in under ten minutes and is easily performed by anyone with two spare brain cells. I’m not even going to start on the bull**** claims about increasing data speeds.
Shame on him and whoever decided to publicise his “service”.
And by the way, this new trend has been around since…. Oh I don’t know… the very beginning of smartphones.

How exactly is it a scam? He’s helping people do something that they can’t do for themselves and as somebody who actually can root Android as well I know first hand it’s not always an easy task. Just like people charge to Jailbreak iPhones, they’ll always charge to root Android…he’s not the first and won’t be the last. The developers do create roms and tweaks of the like for free (sometimes not) and that’s simply their choice, but if I give you the tools to do something, tell you that you’re on your own, responsible for any damage you may cause and you don’t know what the hell you’re doing, wouldn’t you think “Maybe I should get somebody else to do this for me.”
Bottom line, if you want your phone rooted/jailbroken, don’t know how to do it, can’t find some one to do it for free, don’t want to pay someone else to do it (because you think it’s a scam or any other reason), either learn how to do it as well or put the phone down, walk away slowly and leave it alone. Simple as that.
Lol, The first two must be republicans… Look, how is putting someone else down for their line of work make you look like YOU know what you talking about… People get tired of the same old phones and are pretty much tired of buying new ones to keep up with the “Jeffersons”…
To sum up the word scam in the dictionary. It means to TRICK people out of their money leaving a very unhappy customer broke and gets the same problem later in the week. Personally this happen to me, I needed something done on my phone, guy charged me 80 bucks and leaving me with the same issue to occur later that day..
I found the “CEll Phone KIng” and he resolved my issue in 30 minutes and charged me less than half to fix it…So you tell me whose the scammer…?
Mr.Sam did a great job on my galaxy s3 actually the wireless store I went to charged me 55 bucks for root and rom than started having issuesthe next day and my.gps didnt get a lockyes this is something you can learn how to do yourself but when you go to the developers site they warn you how delicate rooting and installing roms is and they also say flash at your own risk and how they are not responsible just like you can learn to change you car’s oil yourself but you might not have tools or time so you pay a shop or sombody else to do it this man is doing something great to help people stop critisizing and join the trnd and stop hatting…
