Vice squad members at the Harris County Sheriff’s office were very busy this week in a round up.
I counted around a dozen people arrested at the local adult nightclubs Babe’s and Onyx.
Court and arrest records show women were arrested at Babe’s on charges of sexual oriented enterprise.
Which means they were running an operation the county considers a sexually oriented business without the proper permit.
Investigators also arrested two young women who worked at the adult nightclub Onyx as well.
One of the two people arrested was also charged with prostitution.
Investigators did not make it clear if the alleged offense took place at the Onyx.

Press Release: On Thursday, September 27, 2012, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Vice Unit executed a search warrant on the business known as Babes located at 10610 West FM 1960 in northwest Harris County, resulting in several arrests.
The raid was in response to numerous complaints and information that the club was operating as a Sexually Oriented Business (SOB) without a permit as required by Harris County S.O.B. Regulations.
Ten suspects were arrested, including the club’s manager and several employees.
This is the second time this year the HCSO has targeted this club for similar violations.
