The two Harris County deputies you see above (Kevin Meyer and Christooher Lock) have been cleared of charges but let’s start from the beginning.
It all started nearly a month ago at a wedding celebration that went very wrong and ended up making the news.
In September Harris County Sheriff’s deputy Kevin Meyer and his friend and fellow deputy Christopher Lock were arrested just after the nuptials.
Meyer was getting married at a lodge in northwest Houston when management wanted to shut it down.
During the event and after an exchange of words a deputy from Precinct 1 ended up arresting deputies Meyer and Lock.
Both were in court Friday where the charges of interfering with a public servant for Meyer and trespassing for Lock were dismissed.
Meyer’s attorney Jed Silverman confirms his client and Lock are now free of the misdemeanor charges!
