Kick Off for Programs for Active Retirees
Seniors interested in finding out about upcoming activities planned for the new Kingwood Community Center are invited to play games, enjoy refreshments, and visit with their friends, neighbors, and staff members during the Senior Day Open House Kick Off, Monday, October 22, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the center, 4102 Rustic Woods, in the Kingwood area.

Besides showcasing programs that have been popular at other H.P.A.R.D. community centers, the Open House will be an opportunity for input from citizens on what they would like to see take place at the Kingwood Community Center.
Tours will take place, as well as demonstrations of classes and clubs, possibly including Senior Yoga, Quilting, and Jewelry Making.
Guests can take part in a survey, which the staff will use to plan activities for the senior population of the Kingwood area.
