I received an email early Saturday morning where one of the FOX 26 viewers was disturbed by a yard decoration at a home in Houston, Texas. Tell me what do you think about it!

Email: I saw this display outside a house in the Sharps Town area.  My FB friends all think it’s supposed to be the first family. What do you think?

Disgusting. This has no relation to Halloween whatsoever. Blatant Racism, Blatant Disrespect for the Commander in Chief. Whomever is responsible for this should be questioned by the authorities for directing and promoting this heinous act of violence towards the first family.

Even if it isn’t the first family, it makes the mind wonder. Its still a

What evil in man heart, is eventually turned into good from God. They sad and we will prevail. Just know hate will never over come love.

This is despicable, debase, disgusting, revolting, unsciousable…It would defy description were it not for the fact that it epitimizes the degree of good ole boy racism that is alive and thriving in America-bigots and racists are no longer hiding behind their white hoods… It also represents the acceptance of such repulsive acts by a large percentage white people in America. NEVER has a president been so disrespected and demonized as President Obama-and the intent is not to disrespect the office of the presidency-the intent is to show hatred and disrespect for Obama because he is a black man residing in what racist view as “their WHITE house….to add insult to injury-why is it even stil on display…? It’s time for subversive, ignorant, elements in our society to get over their sense of superiority, entitlement arrogance and bigotry…

You don’t want to jump to any conclusions – however it seems less like a coincidence that there’s four and that two are larger than the others – has the FBI been notified? – or is this free speech –

I think that some Legal action needs to be taken now to prevent people from exhibiting this sort of horrific display now and in the future! This is taking the Constitutonal right of Freedom of Expression way too far! Why is this sort of thing tolerated at all? It’ is an offensive display and needs to come down.

I hope the neighbors are complaining about this. This is unacceptable to see any person hanging in effigy.

  8. Symone L. October 29, 2012 12:17 pm

Hey, black person right here!….here’s a hint while y’ll are ASSuming…watch sinister….that’s a exact scene from the movie. oops sorry, spoiler alert. smh people so quick to get angry these days…y’all make m giggle at the ignorance.

    • TxNita October 30, 2012 11:27 am

@Symone L… and you naivety makes me shake my head for us “black people.” Unless the owner of the home is stupid, he knew exactly what people would think, especially those who have no knowledge of the movie. He meant for the controversy, otherwise he would have make sure people knew it was from the movie.

      • Lucas Jackson October 31, 2012 12:45 pm

You assume the owner cares if you are getting “offended” over nothing by assuming the dolls represent black people, TxNita.

  9. Lucas Jackson October 29, 2012 1:05 pm

Although very extremely distasteful, it would appear to be 2 males and 2 females, which would nix the Obama family theory.

  10. daone4real October 29, 2012 1:30 pm

Why not display the physical address for the location of this house?

  11. faith October 29, 2012 2:31 pm

I don’t care if to from what ever movie thats not something that needs to be displayed around children they might get ideas an accidently think they could hang theirselfs.@lucus its a man an three females. If you haven’t lbeen that situation of being lynched don’t say blacks are insensitive black people families flesh an blood moms, dads, children’s have been Hung from a tree . For whites to try to erase history NEVER.

This just shows how base many white Americans are in the way they think. The US is what it is today because of its melting pot of different race. The free and forced labor of the African American brought the US to its feet by laboring the cotton fields. Others joined in to contribute to the grandeur of the nation. White folks tend to forget that the majority of them came from overseas. Most of them were the worse criminals that were banned from the old continent Europe. Needless to say that with such a stupid display, it shows how innate that criminal nature is still today.

  13. Lucas Jackson October 30, 2012 4:29 pm

The fact you automatically assume it was white people who did this and the mannequins must be black shows your hypocrisy, Benoit. Hanging doesn’t always automatically involve black people. Ever heard of the wild west?
