The Harris County District Attorney has dropped the soliciting a prostitute charge against a Halliburton executive.

This comes after Joseph Andolino’s attorney Paul Doyle said in a radio interview the Harris County Sheriff’s Office mishandled the case.

Doyle said Saturday morning evidence showed detectives who handled the prostitution sting a month ago falsified documents in the probe.

Andolino asked for a received a speedy trial in the case.

Doyle says he believes the actions of the investigators should now be turned over to the police integrity unit.

The criminal defense attorney also said he’s suspicious of all the prostitution arrests that took place just before Sheriff Adrian Garcia’s reelection bid.

Doyle says his clients reputation has been damaged but he feels Adolino wants to move on with his life.

Adolino was arrested with just over a half dozen men last month after investigators arranged for the males to meet with a prostitute at a local hotel.

The case was handled in Judge Mike Fields’ court.

I’ve made a call to a spokesperson from the sheriff’s office and once I get a response it will be posted!
