US MARINE ARRESTED IN GUAM FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT!

Press Release: A United States Marine is in the Harris County Jail after being taken into custody overseas by members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders & Fugitive Task Force.
 
George Christopher Aragon (DOB 2-8-90) was wanted by investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. Investigators say Aragon sexually assaulted his victim over a period of several years. That child is now in her teens.
 
The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders & Fugitive Task Force, which includes Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Deputy U.S. Marshals, discovered that Aragon was actively serving in the US Marine Corps (USMC) and was stationed in Japan. Task Force Investigators further learned that Aragon was on temporary assignment at an airbase in Guam. With the assistance of Deputy US Marshals from the Guam office and investigators from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), Task Force investigators arrested Aragon. He was extradited to Houston and booked into the Harris County Jail on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 where he is being held on a $50,000 bond.
