MILES: I HAD AN INTEREST IN BUYING KCOH RADIO!

Houston businessman and state lawmaker Borris Miles called me hot.

The successful insurance salesman says he was very interested in buying KCOH radio in Houston.

The facility was recently sold to Guadalupe Radio for a reported $2 million.

Miles says when he attempted to buy it the price was inflated at $8 million.

He says by the time the price was dropped by the family that owns it, KCOH was already snapped up.

Miles says he was disturbed by the on air jocks at the station who claimed no one from the African American community stepped up to the plate to save the historically Black formatted radio station.

I think that after the original owner died, who ever was in charge of his affairs just said dump it.But more importantly, I did’nt like what the son of the owner said in an on air interview with michael harris.I felt it was disrespectful, weird, and almost like he just said “to hell with those guys and those people”! I got my money, now play nice, or I”ll fire you! (the djs).
