On the celebration of what would be Dr. Martin Luther King’s 84th birthday, It is very fitting that we receive the news of Congressman Al Greens appointment. I remember the stuggles of growing up in the Houston/Galveston JIM CROW times of the 50’s and 60’s, and the struggles of the decades that followed. I remember working directly with mayorial candidate, the Hon. Al Green, in our efforts to have him lead the great city of Houston. His leadership and friendship have not been forgotten. It’s a good day!
    Thank you!
