$400,000,000 LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST ENERGY COMPANY OVER PLATFORM EXPLOSION!

Press Release: Curtis Dantin, Sr., and Michael Brandenburg, along with their Filipino co-workers and their families, Jovito L. Canencia, Edelia E. Canencia, Nick P. De Guzman, Grace M. De Guzman, Paulino H. Obenieta, and Amelia C. Obenieta, have filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of Texas, Galveston Division, alleging damages resulting from the November 16, 2012, tragedy aboard Black Elk Energy Offshore Operation’s West Delta 32 production platform. The lawsuit targets Black Elk Energy, LLC, Black Elk Energy Offshore Operations, LLC, Wood Group USA, Inc., Compass Engineering and Consultants, L.L.C., and Enviro-Tech Specialties, Inc., alleging damages for physical injuries, mental anguish, as well as lost earnings in addition to punitive damages, altogether in excess of US$400,000,000. This lawsuit is the first on file in Texas and seeks recovery against these Defendants, who are alleged to have caused the tragedy that resulted in three deaths and serious injuries.
