The Factor has learned the National Basketball Association will be kicking off a major campaign in Houston that’s aimed at stopping counterfeiters.
This comes as we get closer to the NBA All Star Weekend and Game in Houston scheduled for the middle of February.
The event is expected to attract thousands of people to the city who will spend lots of money buying what they expect to be authentic NBA paraphernalia.
Officials with the All Star event want to make sure counterfeiters and bootleggers don’t take advantage of the public.
I’ve learned there will be an agressive campaign to go after those who violate copyright laws and an educational effort to make certain you’re not taken advantage of.
Stay tuned to the Factor for more details!
