Direct TV – Channel 57
Dish Network – Channel 57

“I’m excited for Houstonians to see what my show has to offer and to hear our diverse perspectives,” said Smith. “At a time when there are so many negative representations of men, and black men in particular- I look forward to bringing these important topics to the forefront.”

Regal Roundtable will be a 30-minute talk show that discusses hot topics and current events similar to The View and The Talk, from a male perspective. The show is the brainchild of Smith, who also publishes the online men’s magazine and is a former College Professor.

Regal Roundtable will appeal to men of all races and ethnicities and will offer a platform to debate about a variety of issues including politics, religion, sports, health, relationships and social issues. Periodically, the show will feature battle of the sexes episodes, which will allow two men and two women to debate relationship issues.

“Our goal is to focus on serious issues, that impact our lives daily. But we also hope to get people talking, debating and challenging each other- which the battle of the sexes episode does,” said Smith.

Guests on Regal Roundtable have included comedian and radio personality Marcus D. Wiley (Yolanda Adams Morning Show’), Houston community activist Quannel X, playwright Renee Rivon (Je’Caryous Johnson’s Marriage Material), country singer Mike Stites and politician Jew Don Boney.

The episodes will air each week at 6:30 a.m. cst on February 9, February 16, February 23, March 9 and March 16.
