Members of the Houston Association of Black Journalists came together Wednesday night in an attempt to increase their ranks.
The group held a monthly membership drive at The Capitol at St. Germain in downtown Houston.
Several people including current members and those interested in joining attended a happy hour at the local venue.
This comes as HABJ prepares to take on a major scholarship fundraiser at the same venue next week for NBA All Star Week.
