The son of the San Jacinto County Judge will know how much time he will do behind bars this week.

Frederick Eugen Faulkner, son of San Jacinto County Judge Fritz Faulkner, is facing 20 years in prison for a manslaughter charge.

Faulkner entered a guilty plea two months ago in the 2011 death of Terry Thompson.

Prosecutors say Faulkner was driving when he struck and killed Thompson.

Because Faulkner’s father is the County Judge and so well connected a special visiting judge was brought in from Conroe to hear the case.

That’s not all…there was also a special prosecutor in Faulkner’s case before the guilty plea.

The sentencing is expected to get underway this Tuesday in San Jacinto County.
