Houston City Controller Ronald Green says a contractor owes the city of Houston hundreds of thousands of dollars in overcharges. This all came to light when the Controller audited the books in 2011 and 2012 related to a construction project at William Hobby Airport. The results of the review shows Clark Construction was overpaid $800,000 by the Houston Airport System. Green has sent a notice to Clark and HAS saying the city will not pay the overcharges. Auditors say the charges are for various payments related to salaries and expenses. The Factor hopes to get a response from Clark Construction!
