The Factor has learned a former San Jacinto County deputy has been arrested in Harris County in a massive fraud case.
Sources say Royce Binnion is accused of stealing more than $700,000 from his former employer before becoming a reserve deputy in San Jacinto County.
Binnion is accused of filing fake purchase orders while working as a manager at NOV Tuboscope.
A second employee William Pigden also has a warrant out for his arrest.
Sources say Binnion and Pigden worked together creating those fake purchase orders over a three year period (2008 – 2011) and splitting the money.
The Harris County Sheriff’s department has been investigating this case for two years.
Both men have bonds of $1.5 million dollars each on the charge of first degree felony theft.
