It was last week when we first reported some residents at the Star of Hope Women’s shelter complained about bed bugs.
After that report aired officials from John Moore Services in Houston stepped up and offered to fumigate the facility.
Now, I’m told the Star of Hopr has agreed to let the company come in and address the bed bug issue.
Here is a note I received from John Moore:
Yesterday, we met with the wonderful folks at Star of Hope, and starting tomorrow, John Moore Services will begin the Pest Control process of controlling their bed bug issue. It will be an ongoing relationship that will take some time, but John Moore Services is committed to resolving their bed bug issues. We will be meeting Manard Hardison, the facility manager, at 10:00 and treating the first of 72 suites. I will keep you updated on the situation periodically.
