Since July 19th, Pasadena Police investigated five incidents involving women’s purses being forcibly taken from them in local parking lots.
The suspects would drive through parking lots and when they found a female with a purse, they would pull up close to her, reach out and grab the purse.
In one case, the victim was carrying her one year old daughter and was thrown to the ground when her purse was stolen.
Pasadena Police Detectives immediately began doing surveillance on local parking lots and following up on all leads received to capture the suspects.
Detectives spent many hours to put an end to this crime spree.
