On Sunday, August 18, 2013, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 3:30 PM in reference to an AT&T cell phone store had been robbed. The AT&T store is located in South Montgomery County in the 2211 Block of Rayford Rd at the intersection of Imperial Oaks Blvd.
Montgomery County Pct 3 Constable office responded and found that three black males had entered the store with handguns demanding money and phones.
Pct 3 Constables were able to get a vehicle and suspect description to broadcast to surrounding patrol units.
The vehicle was seen by Shenandoah Police and Montgomery County Pct 3 Constables that were waiting at Interstate 45 and Sawdust road.
The vehicle refused to stop and headed south on Interstate 45 fleeing from police. The suspect vehicle wrecked at Rankin and Ella in North Harris County. One suspect was taken into custody immediately while the three other suspects fled on foot.
A perimeter was set up and multiple agencies responded to the scene including Houston Police Department K-9, DPS, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and Harris County Sheriff’s Office and three suspects were arrested.
Montgomery County Major Crimes Detectives responded to the scene.
Three of the four suspects were taken to Montgomery County Detective Division located in Conroe, TX.
One suspect was taken to the hospital for injuries from a dog bite from the K-9.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes division is still conducting interviews and will release more information at a later time.
