Houston police say one man is dead and another hospitalized after a shooting at a Houston restaurant.
Police say a gunman walked into Mah Express on Griggs Road just after 10:30 am and demanded money.
Investigators say the owner and his brother were inside the business with a cook.
According to police the gunman fired one shot in the air and then another into the leg of one of the brothers.
Detectives say that’s when the owner, in an attempt to save his brother, charged the shooter.
The owner was shot in the chest and died.
We’re told the cook ran out of the back of the restaurant and was not hurt.
Police say they’re looking for a black male about 6’5 who fled the scene in a white SUV.
