If you’re in Montgomery County prepare to give up your blood if you’re suspected of drinking and driving.
Warren Diepraam with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office says they’re kicking off their no refusal policy Thursday night.
Diepraam says it’s an effort to keep drivers safe on the roads during the holiday season.
The program, that puts extra officers and deputies on the streets, is funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation.
Diepraam says if you’re suspected of driving while driving officers will be able to draw your blood to determine the alcohol content.
Prosecutors say the effort will run through New Year’s Eve!
