A Harris County man is behind bars for theft after allegesly stealing from fellow volunteer firefighters.
18 year old Justin McDonald, who was a volunteer firefighter in Spring, is accused of stealing several uniforms and radios from the department as well the Cypress Creek Volunteer fire department.
Court records show McDonald stole a shirt belonging to an EMT from Cypress Creek while on a ride along.
He’s also accused of stealing three radios, a computer, and lapel pin microphone from his own department where he has been active for two and a half months.
Investigators say McDonald’s big mistake was putting on one of the stolen uniform shirts and posting it on Instagram.
