A Houston man wrote the Factor desperate for help after receiving an eviction notice from his apartment complex.

Now, this eviction wasn’t the result of him being a deadbeat but because he received a worthless money order from Kroger.

The man said he purchased the draft from the store to pay his rent.

Well, several days later his apartment manager told him the money order was returned as being worthless.

The Factor began asking questions and reached out to Kroger.

Needless to say the problem has been resolved and Kroger issued this statement:

“Our team has investigated and resolved this issue with Mr. Ebrahimi to his satisfaction. He will be provided with a money order for the original amount plus the late fee. We’re also providing him with a $100 gift card for the inconvenience. This is a rare incident and we’re working to put measures in place to ensure other customers are not affected by a similar situation in the future.”
