Walmart workers in the Woodlands store abruptly but politely asked all customers to leave Tuesday just before 11 am.
This came after the power at the store flickered on and off about a half dozen times.
After that last flicker the store went black and the cash registers dark.
It appears the cold weather may have taken a toll on Walmart’s power supply.
I thought there would be some big generator that would kick in but apparently not so I had to forgot my basket full of goodies as well.
I would guess a Walmart that size could lose hundreds of dollars every few minutes during a blackout.
