SHOCKING VIDEOS FROM YOUTUBE OF CURRENT AND FORMER STUDENTS TELLING EACH OTHER HOW TO GET THEIR TEACHERS FIRED.
WE DID A QUICK CHECK ON THE VIDEO SITE AND FOUND SEVERAL VIDEOS AND EVEN TUTORIALS BY STUDENTS EXPLAINING HOW TO GET YOUR TEACHER FIRED.
ADVOCATES FOR EDUCATION IN HOUSTON SAY THE VIDEOS ARE VERY DISTURBING AND STUDENTS DON’T REALIZE THE DAMAGE THEY CAN CAUSE.
HERE’S THE TRANSCRIPT FROM ONE OF THE VIDEOS:
“So I had this teacher right Ms. Keller and I just didn’t like her you know so you know what I said let me just get her fired…So I went to the principal and instead of saying I was molested you need to play the victim.”
GAYLE FALLON IS PRESIDENT OF THE HOUSTON FEDERATION OF TEACHERS. SHE SAYS,
“I don’t think at the age those students are they realize they can ruin a person’s home life, their family often turns on them, they ruin their career, they ruin their reputation in the community.”
FOX 26 LEGAL ANALYST CHRIS TRITICO WHO ALSO REPRESENTS HOUSTON TEACHERS IN CRIMINAL CASES.
HE SAYS HE’S WARNED TEACHERS TO LIMIT THEIR ONE ON ONE AND PERSONAL CONTACT WITH STUDENTS.
FALLON AND TRITICO BOTH SAY IF A TEACHER IS FALSELY ACCUSED IT COULD COST UP TO $100,000 IN LEGAL FEES TO CLEAR THEIR NAMES.
