The Galveston County Sheriff’s office still needs your help in tracking down the missing vehicle owned by a couple murdered earlier this month.
Investigators in Galveston County say the car recently purchased by Brittney Cosby and Crystal Jackson may contain important evidence that could result in murder charges being filed against the chief suspect in the the case.
Captain Barry Cook says he believes there is blood and possibly DNA in the 2006 Kia Sorento that hasn’t been seen since the young couple’s bodies were discovered at Port Bolivar.
Investigators have already arrested Cosby’s father on two counts of tampering with evidence.
However, Cook says if they can find the vehicle he believes they will have the evidence the agency needs to charge 46 year old James Larry Cosby with murder.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office by phone at 866-248-8477 or Galveston County Crime Stoppers at 409-763-8477.
