Queenie Freeman was so disturbed and disgusted with what she saw at a local eatery that she took to social media.
Freeman, the wife of legendary Houston rapper Bun B, says she visited the new Waffle House in Pearland and the conditions were awful.
She took pictures and posted them on her Instagram account showing waffle mix everywhere.
Someone tagged me and I sent the photos to Waffle House corporate.
A spokesperson for the company immediately responded and launched an investigation.
That rep apologized for Freeman’s experience and issued this statement saying action is being taken to correct the problem at the Houston area store:
Statement from Waffle House:
Thank you for sending over this photo.
We make every effort to provide a clean, safe environment for all our customers and we apologize to this guest that we did not meet her expectations on her visit. I have spoken with the local Area Vice President who is aware of the photo and has addressed the guest’s concerns directly with the location in Pearland this morning.
Please let me know if I can provide any further assistance.
