On Monday, March 24, at approximately 9:30 PM, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a robbery in progress. Patrol Deputies responded to a Shell convenience store in the 18300 block of Highway 105 East, in Conroe, Texas. Upon Deputies arrival, they discovered a store clerk at the location that had been shot.
Emergency Medical Services were summoned to the scene, who pronounced the clerk deceased after medical intervention was unsuccessful.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Units, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigators, and representatives from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office responded and are still investigating at the scene.
Identification of the deceased is not being released until family notification is made.
Suspect information is vague as Investigators are still at the scene.
