A soldier who posted a photo with an exaggerated facial expression on Instagram during the Fort Hood shooting Tuesday has come under fire.
The picture appeared to be a selfie taken by Thai Nguyen and one of his fellow soldiers.
His caption reads waiting for this shooting to end at Fort Hood.
Some who checked his page because of his Fort Hood hash tag took offense because of his playful facial expression in his photo.
Some began calling Nguyen names and saying his picture and expression were totally inappropriate at a time when others were murdered.
However, there were some people supporting him but also urging him to remove the photo.
So far Nguyen hasn’t responded and may simply be too busy with the real world at Fort Hood rather than respond to critics on social media.
What do you think?
