On April 21st, 2014, The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant at 9:00PM, last night, at a residence located at 3501 25th Ave N apt 260, in Texas City, Texas. Reginald Van Horton 30 yoa was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance, 4-200 grams, a First Degree Felony. His bond was set at $250,000.00 on each charge.
Robin Wiley 26 yoa of Texas City was also charged with Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance, 4-200grams, a First Degree Felony, her bond was set at $20,000.00 and a Tommy Merchant 49 of Texas City was charged with Possession of an Controlled Substance less than a gram, his bond was set at $60,000.00
Upon entry by the entry team Horton and Merchant jumped out the 2nd story bedroom window and received minor cuts and were apprehended by Deputies. Both suspects were treated for their injuries at Mainland Center Hospital before being placed into the County jail.
Horton had been under investigation for over a month for selling crack cocaine heroin from his residence. Detectives recovered a total of 22.4 grams of Mexican Brown Heroin and 7.6 grams crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging material and $829.00 in cash.
