Slim Thug makes a terminal patient’s day with a surprise visit. Here’s Richard Madrano’s story in a note from his sister:
My brother is fighting stage 4 colon cancer and was admitted into the ICU at Methodist hospital and we were told he wouldn’t make it through the night but he did, the Dr’s said his fight has come to an end but he’s still here and we told the dr. If he is in his last days we want to take him home so we signed the release papers and he was released from ICU! We were trying to contact someone from the Houston Rockets to see if he could meet them , we just wanted to do something special for him, my daughter called Slim Thugs manager also when we were still in the ICU when he called back to say he was coming to see my brother I told him we brought him home to make his last days as comfortable as possible he said ok I’ll tell Slim, then he called back and said Slim said he’s coming to your house send me your address! My brother couldn’t believe it and Slim said he didn’t have any shirts with him but he did have the one he wore to the Rockets game the night before and my brother was beyond excited!! This was the most generous act if kindness anyone has ever done for my family!
