Dear HHS Parents,

In an effort to keep you informed, I want to let you know about an incident that happened yesterday on campus.  At approximately 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a weapon was located in the backpack of a 17-year-old male student at Hightower High School who was being questioned on another matter in an administrator’s office.  The student was arrested, and charges will be filed.

We are thankful that our administrators and Fort Bend ISD police officers handled this matter quickly and safely.  The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority.  If you have any questions, please call me.

Sincerely,

Viretta West
