Investigators continue to examine evidence and follow up on leads involving the robbery of the Fuel Maxx #1 Store, in Montgomery County on May 29, 2014.  The robbers have not been identified and no arrests have been made at this time.

 

Investigators have released surveillance photos of the suspects and anyone with information about the crime should call the Major Crimes Section of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5856 or Crime Stoppers.

On Thursday, May 29, 2014 at approximately 9:40 PM, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the Fuel Maxx #1 Store, located in the 12700 Block of Highway 105 East, in Cut and Shoot, Texas.

The clerks advised three armed males entered the store.  One male proceeded behind the counter and threatened a clerk demanding money.  Another male watched for people entering the store, while the third male contained and watched the other employees in the store.  While the actors were inside the store, two store employees were assaulted.  One store employee was struck with a pistol by an actor, while another employee was kicked several times in the face.  One of these employees had to be transported to a local hospital for evaluation.  A customer that entered the store during the robbery was confronted by one of the actors, who took her personal property.  The actors then fled the location on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the location but were unable to locate the actors.      

Descriptions of the suspects are three black males dressed in various colored clothing wearing bandanas covering their faces.  Investigators are in the process of reviewing evidence.
