WHAT’S GOING DOWN IN THE WOODLANDS!

From Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office…The latest police blotter:

(Woodlands) On June 16th, Deputy Jobe assisted Sergeant Rogers on a traffic stop in the 8000 block of State Highway 242.  After an investigation, the 50 year old male driver was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and transported to the South Montgomery County Jail annex without incident.

On June 16th, Deputy Frey was dispatched to a shoplifter in custody call at 3040 College Park Drive.  The suspect, a 22 year old male, attempted to steal $103.67 worth of merchandise from Walmart.  The suspect was charged with theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On June 17th, Deputy Martin, while on patrol in the area of Trillium Circle, observed a vehicle stop and three passengers exit the vehicle.   Due to previous criminal contact with one of the subjects, Deputy Martin stopped to speak with the subjects.  As the subjects exited the vehicle, Deputy Martin detected a strong distinct odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  One of the passengers, a 20 year old male, was discovered to have marijuana on his person and in the vehicle.  He was charged with possession of marijuana and transported to the South Montgomery County Jail Annex without incident.  The subject that the Deputy recognized, a 20 year old male, was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.

On June 18th, Deputy Abdelbaky was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at 4700 Lake Woodlands Drive.  During the course of the investigation, one of the drivers, a 43 year old male, was found to be intoxicated.  After completing an investigation, the driver was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and transported to the South Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On June 20th, Deputy Hardin conducted a traffic stop in the area of Woodlands Parkway and John Cooper Drive.  During the course of the traffic stop, the 30 year old driver was found to have marijuana in his vehicle.  Charges for possession of marijuana were accepted by the District Attorney’s Office and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. #1 Criminal Justice Dr. – Conroe, Texas  77301 Page 7
