Members of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) laced up their running and walking shoes Saturday morning to take part in the annual NABJ 5K.
The event took place on the Esplanade next to the Charles River in Boston.
Proceeds from the 5K will benefit
The One Fund Boston, which assists survivors of the 2013 Boston marathon bombing and relatives of the victims.
Some of the race participants included NABJ board members Mary Benton, Dedrick Russell, Vicky Thomas and Dawn Roberts.
