NOVEMBER 4, 2014 ELECTION KICKOFF

WHAT: In preparation for Election Day, Harris County Clerk Stan Stanart and his staff will inform the media and voters of Harris County about the key items they need to know to be prepared for the November 4, 2014 General Election.
“Election Season has begun. Join us and find out what you need to know to vote in Harris County,” said Harris County Clerk Stanart.

WHEN: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014

WHERE: Metropolitan Multi-Services Center, 1475 West Gray St, Houston, Texas 77019

WHO: Stan Stanart, Harris County Clerk and Chief Election Official, is responsible for conducting elections in Harris County.

WHY: With more than two million registered voters in Harris County, it is important that voters in the third largest county in the nation are made aware of everything they need to know to vote, including Photo ID law requirements, voting by mail, early voting locations, where to vote on Election Day, and how to obtain their personal sample ballot.
