AT&T WORKERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR WORK ENVIRONMENT IN HOUSTON!

Some Houston employees of AT&T have taken to social media to complain.

Those workers say they have been subjected to a building with mold and it’s making them sick.

Some employees have even sported surgical masks to work at the facility located at 3900 Dacoma so they won’t breathe in the mold.

A spokesperson for AT&T issued this statement to the Factor:

The small, unused area of the building where non-toxic mold was discovered was completely closed off several days ago to avoid any contact with employees or the rest of the building. We’ve been working with licensed remediation experts and have been in contact with OSHA, which reviewed and accepted our remediation plan.

I retired in 2009 from AT&T at this location. Years ago when they were remodeling & there was a sign posted on the side door.. warning hazard building due to mold.. I took a picture of the sign years ago..not sure where it is. I told the Union to check on the building. This doesn’t surprise me. I pray it doesn’t or hasn’t affected anyone’s health. Someone needs to contact the contractors from years ago, they should be able to verify the mold.
