Beginning Saturday, November 8 at 9 p.m. through Monday, November 10 at 5 a.m. the Sam Houston Tollway will be closed in both directions between US 290 and West Road, as shown on the map.

The direct connector ramps from US 290 to the Sam Houston Tollway will also be closed. The direct connector ramp from northbound Sam Houston Tollway to US 290 will remain open.

All northbound Sam Houston Tollway traffic will be required to either:

· exit the main lanes at W. Little York, continue north on the frontage road, and re-enter the tollway after West Rd., or access US 290 in either direction via the direct connectors.

All southbound Sam Houston Tollway traffic will be required to exit at West Rd., continue on the frontage road and turn right at US 290, make a left at Senate Avenue and continue to W. Little York to re-enter the tollway.

During the closure, the following ramp locations will be closed:

· Northbound Philippine entrance ramp (non-tolled)

· Southbound Fallbrook entrance (tolled)

· Southbound West Rd. entrance (tolled)

Sign trailers have been in place for the last two weeks to notify drivers of the upcoming closure, as indicated on the map. Additional signs will be placed on the roadway during the closure. Information about the closure has also been posted on www.hctra.org.

This closure will allow for sign bridges, which span both sides of the tollway, to be safely installed.
